"Hello! My name is Veronica, and I’ve been a first and second grade teacher for the past five years. I have experience teaching all core subjects and am passionate about helping my students learn and grow. I’ve always loved working with children, and I truly value the connections I build with my students.

In my classroom, I’ve worked with a wide variety of learners. I have experience teaching students needing extra support, as well as students who are ahead of their class and eager to dive deeper into subjects to stay engaged and excited. My work with students is deeply fulfilling, and I truly feel happy to go to work every day. I believe my students can feel that joy, and I pride myself on the warm and supportive learning environment I create.

Outside of the classroom, I tutor children in Spanish and I teach music lessons. A few of my students have been with me for over five years, and I truly enjoy my time with them.

I’m most comfortable working with Kindergarten through third grade students, though depending on the subject, I’m happy to work with students outside of that age range as well.

At this time, I am only accepting online students. I have several years of experience teaching virtually, and I’ve learned how to make online lessons warm, interactive, engaging, and productive.
