"I am certified in both elementary education and special education. I have been teaching and tutoring for over 20 years! I am currently a special education department chair at an elementary school. I also am National Board Certified in the area of special education. While not directly related to my tutoring, I also hold an administrative certification.

As a special education teacher, I enjoy meeting with students to support their social emotional learning and self-advocacy skills. This includes (but is not limited to) work with students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and Learning Disabilities. Some areas of focus include coping skills, executive functioning, and social skills. I am able to tutor all elementary academic areas, but math is my favorite!

The elementary school I work at has students in preschool through grade 6. I have had the opportunity to work and teach with students throughout this age range.
