I have a masters degree in education from Aquinas College with a focus on history and political science. I have been teaching elementary school to 2nd through 5th grade for 12 years. I have also been teaching history/geography for 4 years to 6th-8th grade. From 2010 - 2021 I taught in Chicago at a French international school called the Lycee Francais de Chicago. Currently, I am an assistant principal in Grand Rapids at River City Scholars Charter Academy.
I was a tutor at Huntington Learning Center for 2 years in Arizona from 2008-2010. When the facility closed, I continued to privately tutor my students until until I moved back to Chicago at the end of the 2010 year.
I have also been giving guitar and trumpet lessons for the last 12 years for up to 3 students a week.
