"One of the greatest things about teaching is watching a child begin to understand something that had once been difficult for them. I have been a teacher for 14 years. I have taught Kindergarten through 4th grade and have tutored through summer school programs. I enjoy seeing students develop a lover of learning as they gain confidence in their abilities.

I have taught a variety of elementary grades and enjoy providing students with multiple ways of solving problems.

I have my Master's degree in reading and language arts. I have a wealth of resources to help students be successful in reading. I wrote my thesis on academic vocabulary and have a passion for building students' vocabulary.
