"I have seventeen years of teaching experience in elementary education. I believe learning should be fun and learning can take many forms! With the standards students are expected to meet, learning can become overwhelming and challenging - especially with the New York State ELA and Math tests. However, tutors have the ability to work with one student and to address the needs of one student. This can open up the doors to new learning opportunities and can make learning more fun and challenging. Some students need some extra help to brush up on a certain subject, but some students need to be pushed beyond the curriculum and I am able to help with that also.
