"I graduated in 2019 with my AA in Teaching from MCC-Blue River. I then continued my education at the University of Southern Illinois-Carbondale, where I graduated magma cum laude with my BA in Journalism and Mass Communication, with a minor in Psychology.

During my time in the classroom as a student, I found that the teacher is what makes a classroom. The more creative and engaging a teacher is, the more the students will engage and take away from the material being taught. It’s not just about the now in the classroom, it’s about the impact made for years to come.

While studying teaching, I spent many hours in the classroom. I helped in reading, writing, and grammar grades 2-4.
