"Hello there! My name is Brooke. I am currently a college student working toward my Early Education degree. While I don't hold formal teaching certifications just yet, I bring three years of hands-on tutoring experience. Ever since I graduated high school, I have been offering one-on-one tutoring sessions to students, focusing primarily on English, reading, and grammar. I especially enjoy working with second and third-grade students, but I’m happy to assist learners from kindergarten through fifth grade in a wide variety of subjects as needed.

I try to be very patient and encouraging with my students. My tutoring style is very student-centered, and I firmly believe that every child learns differently. I make it a point to tailor my lessons to match each student's unique learning style. Whether your child thrives with visual aids, hands-on activities, or verbal discussion, I’ll work with you to build a personalized plan that fits their needs. I also have experience helping English language learners, specifically Japanese English language learners, who already have a basic conversational grasp of the language and want to improve their writing, pronunciation, grammar, and overall fluency through conversation practice.

Education is one of my all-time greatest passions. I believe that our children are the foundation of our future, and I want to help fuel their excitement for learning in any way I can.
