"I am an Elementary Education major with extensive experience working directly with young children in both classroom and one-on-one settings. Through my coursework and field placements, I have developed a strong foundation in early literacy, foundational math, and child development. Much of my training centers on research-based practices such as the Science of Reading, Universal Design for Learning, and culturally responsive teaching. These frameworks guide how I support students in phonics, reading fluency, comprehension, early math skills, and general homework help in ways that are developmentally appropriate and engaging.

In addition to my academic preparation, I have spent significant time tutoring and working with elementary-aged students in small groups and individualized settings. I have supported students with a range of learning needs, including ADHD, dyslexia, and students who benefit from extra structure and repetition. Working one-on-one has allowed me to closely observe how students think, where misconceptions arise, and how targeted instruction can help them make meaningful progress.
