"Hello, I'm Reilly! I graduated with honors from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in 2021, and I also hold a certificate in Business from Harvard University's online MBA core program. While in college, I was deeply involved with communications initiatives at both Brown University and RISD. Synthesizing my design skills with storytelling and language was at the core of my education: I served as both an editor and contributor to RISD’S student-run publication, and I also worked with several cross-campus initiatives that encouraged multidisciplinary collaboration between academic departments. For a tutor of my background, I am particularly skilled in research and communications. I have received several national awards from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association for my writing, and I continue to maintain an active writing and editing practice. My approach to tutoring is informed by my unique background in design. No matter the subject, I encourage students to develop creative problem-solving skills, step outside of their comfort zones, and think outside of the box.

I have four years' experience tutoring high school and college-level writing for both native and non-native English speakers, and I also have experience working with students both in-person and remotely. Though I specialize in writing, history, and communications-based subjects, I also have experience tutoring high school Trigonometry. In each of these settings, establishing a warm and positive environment where students feel empowered to ask questions is a key component of my tutoring ethos.
