"Hello! My name is Rachelle and I specialize in tutoring biology, anatomy and physiology. I am a resident physician with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology with a minor in Neuroscience, and seven year of experience working in biomedical research. I began tutoring in college and have experience tutoring students from elementary school to college and medical school.

As a tutor, I aim to create an encouraging environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions and make mistakes, grow in confidence, and gain lasting skills and knowledge. My approach to teaching is personalized to each student’s needs with the goal of encouraging students to find enjoyment and curiosity in learning. I focus on breaking down difficult concepts to help students gain a strong foundational understanding. I enjoy working with students to help them achieve their goals, and find it very gratifying to watch students make progress and experience their ‘eureka’ moment when they understand a problem or concept they were previously struggling with.
