"Hi! I’m Anna! A patient, encouraging elementary tutor who genuinely loves helping kids feel confident with their schoolwork. I discovered my love for tutoring by helping my nephews (grades 3–6) with their math, reading, and writing homework, and seeing firsthand how much one-on-one support can help students thrive. That experience inspired me to branch out and offer my help to other children who could benefit from extra academic support.
I specialize in homework help for elementary and middle school students, with a focus on math, reading comprehension, and writing. I also hold an Associate’s degree in Biology, which allows me to confidently support students with science homework and foundational science concepts.
In addition to academics, I’m also an artist and enjoy helping students with art and graphic design homework. Creativity is a powerful learning tool, especially for younger students, and I love using visual explanations and hands-on approaches to help lessons feel engaging and approachable.
My teaching style is calm, supportive, and adaptable. I focus on meeting students where they are, breaking concepts down in a way that makes sense to them, and building confidence through encouragement and consistency. I strive to create a safe, positive learning environment where kids feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
