My name is Patrick. I graduated from Millersville University with a BSE in Biology and a minor in chemistry. Since graduating, I have become a certified high school science teacher and have taught for the past 4 years in public and private schools. I have also since returned to Millersville for my Master's degree and have been working on completing it over the past year.

In college, I learned that I wanted to be an educator that students were excited to see and one that students enjoyed being taught by. To achieve this goal I have worked tirelessly to make learning fun which is appealing to all types of learners. When teaching I focus on engaging students in learning rather than just lecturing to them about the topic of the day. To engage students I use a variety of hands-on activities and projects. I also apply this to my tutoring sessions as well.

I have been tutoring for 3 years now and have tutored all levels of students. I have worked in a school that works with students who have learning challenges like Dyslexia, Autism, and developmental delays. Since having the opportunity to work in this school I have spent countless hours on techniques as to how best to teach each student so they are successful in school. In addition to this, I have taught all levels of Biology and tutored countless students in preparing for the State Standardized test within Pennsylvania for Biology.
