"Hi! I have about 10 years of experience in tutoring math and English. I also have 8 years of experience as a 6th-8th grade English Language Arts teacher. I fell in love with English and decided to get my A.A. and B.A. in English. I also have a teaching credential and a Master's in Teaching (Specializing in English Education 5th-12th). I love tutoring and teaching students by helping them develop the skills they need to succeed. I am pretty patient but I also try to make things fun and exciting.

As an educator, I seek to not only teach but inspire my students to be all that they can be. I hope to provide them with new skills that they had not possessed as well as build upon their existing skills. My main goal is to help them increase their confidence in the English language as well as create a warm and welcoming environment.

I have English Competencies from California State University Northridge. I also have passed the CBEST which is the Basic Education Skills Test in Reading, Writing, and Math. I have also passed the Praxis in English Content and Analysis (equivalent to the CSET in English). I have a lot of knowledge in proofreading essays, reading, and writing. I love helping students and I know how to effectively teach them about the English.
