"Hi! I’m Sara, and I am a dedicated and patient educator with experience teaching elementary students across all core subject areas. I graduated from Pensacola Christian College and completed my student teaching in 4th grade using the Abeka curriculum. I then went on to teach 5th grade, primarily using the Bob Jones curriculum. Teaching in a full classroom has given me strong experience differentiating instruction and supporting students with a wide range of academic needs and learning styles.

I am extremely passionate about helping students who struggle—not just to succeed, but to truly thrive in their educational journey. My tutoring approach is structured, encouraging, and highly individualized. I believe confidence is just as important as content, so I work hard to create a calm, supportive environment where students feel safe asking questions, making mistakes, and growing.

I break concepts down into clear, manageable steps and use repetition, visuals, and real-life connections to help students gain true understanding rather than simply memorizing information. I am especially skilled at working with students who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or behind, and I strive to make learning feel achievable and motivating.
