"My name is Aaron and I am currently an 8th Grade Science Teacher within Jefferson County Public Schools. I am certified in Science and Social Studies. Although, I strictly teach 8th grade I have outside education experience with children from 4th-12th grade. I have 2 years of experience conducting small group tutoring sessions. We discuss graphing, data analysis, biology, environmental changes, human impact, and many more content areas.

I enjoy tutoring because it allows student to take control of their learning. 1-1 tutoring allows for me to assist in specific learning needs and increase knowledge step-by-step. I have experience with tutoring all types of learners and I personally feel I was put on this earth to teach!

I hold a Kentucky Teaching Certificate for grades 5-9 in both Science and Social Studies. I worked for the Missouri Department of Conservation for 3 summers. During that time I learned about stream ecology, forestry, zoology, botany, and many other environmental sciences.

I am required to complete 25 hours of Professional Development through my teaching role. I also work within a PLC where we discuss lesson and content implementation.
