"I have a strong academic background in math and science, supported by a Master's degree in Civil Engineering (with a minor in Philosophy) and 5 years of professional experience applying these subjects in real-world problem-solving contexts. Engineering required a deep understanding of math, physics, and logical reasoning, as well as the ability to break complex problems down into clear, manageable steps. More recently, my work in UX research has further strengthened my ability to explain technical ideas clearly, adapt explanations to different learning styles, and meet students where they are.

My tutoring and teaching experience includes one-on-one instruction with students ranging from late elementary school through high school, as well as informal mentoring of peers and younger students throughout college and my professional career. My approach emphasizes understanding the “why” behind a problem rather than memorization, helping students develop problem-solving strategies they can apply independently. I tailor sessions to each student, adjusting pacing, examples, and methods based on how they learn best.
