"Calling all Readers and Writers! Reading and Writing is what I love and I want to help you love it too. I have taught in classrooms in Thailand and South Korea. I have provided tutoring for many students and their families and I have been a resource to families learning English as well.

My Master's degree from New York University and Bachelor's degree from DePaul University provide a strong foundation in Literacy Education and Early Childhood Education that is evident in my ability to connect to students across grade levels. In my free time you will find me sitting in a café enjoying Earl Grey Tea and a sweet pastry.

Highly resourceful, I have experience in implementation of instructional and training programs, specializing in English Language Arts Instruction, Literacy Workshop Training, and Early Childhood Education. As a head teacher from grades Pre-K to 6th grade, I am able to cover a great deal of content and work with all grade levels.

I have implemented Reading and Writing Workshops, focusing on authentic, meaningful literature. Vocabulary lessons abound as a means to promote comprehension and improve fluency.

Born and raised in Chicago, I am a dedicated teacher who has been working with children and families for fifteen years. I strive to guide students to become Readers, Writers, Thinker, and Problem Solvers.
