"Having taught, tutored, and coached ESL and English for over 15 years now, I have a passion for proper communication - writing, speaking, listening, reading, presenting, persuading, and negotiating. In 2006, I earned a Master's degree in Communication/Organizational Leadership from the University of Denver. I also completed a Certification in Teaching English (TESL) from the University of Colorado. I hold a Further Certificate in Teaching Business English from the International House, San Diego, CA. I've traveled within 4 continents and taught students from over 40 different nations!

My experience includes teaching and coaching at several language schools, colleges, and universities. Test preparation is another service I focus on including the IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, US Citizenship, and GED exams. Currently, I also teach Business English, working with corporate clients and their families of all ages and levels of English acquisition. I spent over 25 years in the business world in both New York and Denver, and taught business, leadership, management, marketing, and communication on college campuses and online for 5 years. In the past few years, I have guest taught at every level of education - from kindergarten through college and taught Composition II/Research Writing at the university level. These experiences enable me to work with all ages and levels of learning with ease!

With regard to different learning styles, my coaching sessions include a combination of visual stimulation, use of tactile objects, games, and open dialogue. I believe in mixing things up to keep sessions interesting. Since auditory learners acquire knowledge by hearing themselves speak, I include the opportunity for each individual to share and speak openly in my sessions.
