"I'm Alex. I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2022, and I'm currently pursuing my Doctor of Dental Surgery. I also received recognition as a National Merit Finalist and scored a 35 on the ACT. Throughout my education, I've experienced the impact an involved teacher can have on building your interest in a particular subject. I also know how confusing a topic you thought you would enjoy can become when you don't have the right resources. Furthermore, I know the weight test scores hold when trying to earn college admissions and scholarships. Whether you are a high-achieving student who struggles with test taking or you simply want to improve your performance, I want to help you elevate your test scores and make achieving your dreams possible. With my background, I'm particularly interested in assisting students with the fields of math, science, and test prep.

I hope to provide students with the assistance they need to fully grasp and love their work. I've tutored students both in person and via an online format. At the undergraduate level, I tutored students in financial accounting and logic. Typically, I find tutoring most helpful in 1-on-1 or very small group settings; I find this maximizes our time and allows us to focus on the areas you struggle in most. This allows us to skim the areas you understand well and dig deeper in the more difficult principles. Additionally, it's most helpful to me if you can alert me ahead of time if there are any specific topics you wish to be covered in a tutoring session. This simply allows me to prepare as much beforehand as possible.
