"I am a professional novelist with seven books in print, as well as articles and essays published in the Daily Telegraph, Monocle, Electric Sheep, and several other periodicals. I won the John Creasey Award for best first novel, and have been nominated for the Ian Fleming Award. My work has been translated into twelve languages.

Additionally, I have optioned or sold multiple screenplays. My first feature-length film, which I both wrote and worked as a producer on, is being released by Saban Films in February 2024, and one of my novels is currently being developed for television by a major streaming network.

While a public school employee, I worked with students as young as six and seven. Later, in cooperation with the Los Angeles Public Library, I tutored high school students, college students, and working adults learning English as a second language.
