"I grew up in South Dakota and earned my undergraduate degree in English Education from Mount Marty College in 1995. I began my teaching career in Kansas City, where I taught junior high reading for two years before relocating to Silicon Valley for a three-year period of work in the tech industry. In 2001, I joined the faculty at Mount Michael Benedictine High School in Nebraska, where I have spent the past 20 years teaching Religion, English, Journalism, and Computer Science. My career reflects a lifelong dedication to both the humanities and emerging technology, grounded in a strong sense of faith and educational purpose.
