"I am a college student at Michigan State University! I love teaching, especially history and English courses. I have experience helping classmates and younger students with writing, reading comprehension, and historical analysis. My approach focuses on breaking down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps and encouraging students to think critically rather than memorize. I like to use examples, discussions, and guiding questions to help students understand the material in a deeper and more engaging way. Most of my experience has been in informal and one-on-one settings, including assisting peers and helping younger students in my community. I especially enjoy working with middle school and high school students, and I hope to eventually teach at one of those levels. My goal is to create a supportive and positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring new ideas, and building confidence in their academic abilities.
