"As a graduate from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism—one of the the top-ranked journalism schools in the nation, I have years of writing and editing experience in the academic and professional realms. Additionally, I published a legal studies thesis at Northwestern, which was supervised by Dr. Lara Beth Nielsen of the American Bar Foundation.

As a tutor, I have over over ten years of experience specializing in reading and writing, college essay writing, math, and the advanced sciences. I am a published writer and author, and I have worked for a number of publications including San Francisco Magazine, Orange County Register, and Chicago Innocence Project.

Other credentials: I earned above 98 percentile on the Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analytical Writing (5.5) sections on the GRE. I also received 4.0 (A levels) in notoriously complex college-level sequences like General Biology, Microbiology, Physics, Calculus, and Anatomy and Physiology.

Additionally, I have experience working with students who have learning disabilities and dyslexia, and I thoroughly enjoy watching my students learn and connect ideas together.
