"I have been a writer for several years and published a novel, entitled Bully Boy, in 2021. I believe my expertise in the English language would make me well-suited to teach it. I have never tutored or taught before but recently completed a four-month certification course through TESL, which included going through grammar and vocabulary as well as studying teaching strategies and methodologies. I believe it gave me a good grounding in how to teach English to ESL students.

I have always believed I would make a good teacher and I think I can anticipate the needs of students seeking to learn the language. I prefer to teach adults needing to master English for either personal or business reasons. My time for instruction is flexible. I can teach to one student or to a class of five or six. I believe in engaging students to learn on their own instead of me just instructing.
