"I hold a degree in instructional design with a focus on effective learning through online instruction. My career history includes many years in educational publishing for grades K-6 as well as some experiencing teaching in community college and adult education. I expect to complete my TEFL certification by April of this year.

My tutoring strengths are in the areas of vocabulary, reading and testing strategies through middle school and basic business English for adults.

The TEFL training I am currently taking reinforces my MEd program in Instructional Design as it allows me to build a portfolio of resources. At present, I feel the need to gain more experience to tutor TOEFL and will update this section at a later date.
