"I am a retired Language Arts teacher with the Douglas County School System. Having recently retired, I remain active working with students in an After School Program and as a substitute teacher. I enjoy working with children of all ages, especially middle and high schoolers. As a former teacher, I understand the importance of the teacher-student relationship and why students often need one-on-one instruction to excel in a particular area of study.

Having taught in Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, California, and Douglasville, Georgia, I have an extensive background in teaching theatre and language arts. Presently, I hold two master's degrees and an undergraduate degree in theatre. In the fall, I will be teaching at West Georgia Technical College in addition to substituting for the local school systems in my area. Additionally, I have taught ESOL both in Los Angeles and Atlanta for several years.
