As a graduate from Bethel University in St. Paul, MN, I taught 11th and 12th grade English Literature and Writing and tutored in the writing center at the high school in Coon Rapids, MN. I also taught 8th grade Language Arts in Sioux Falls, SD, before transitioning into social work and educating youth, families, and administration on the realms of human trafficking, domestic violence, and abuse.

I love teaching and tutoring, and I would love to help you develop your skills, whether it be in English Literature and Writing or in subjects related to social work and psychology. I currently hold a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California with an endorsement in Juvenile Justice. I served as a mental health therapist and medical social worker at a local hospital in South Dakota from 2019-2022. Currently, I tutor wonderful students and serve as an adjunct professor for a local university. Additionally, I am pursuing my Doctorate in Social Work from Simmons University and will graduate in August 2024.

In January 2021, I received an award and recognition as a top 10% tutor in 2020!

In December 2022 I began serving on a review board for the University of Houston's College of Social Work, specifically for the Perspectives on Social Work Journal.
