"I have a passion for learning and teaching, and I love having a job which provides the opportunity to share that passion with others. I have several years of one-on-one tutoring experience with students from elementary to college age. I have a Bachelor of Arts in English with extensive advanced grammar and literature training and have also completed coursework in advanced mathematics while working as a preAlgebra/Algebra tutor.

My goal in tutoring is to present concepts in a fun and easy to understand manner in order to pique the students' interest. When a student enjoys learning and has a desire to learn more, it becomes easier to learn and understand new concepts. I also believe that each student has their own individual personality and strengths; therefore, I seek to tailor my tutoring style to fit each student's specific learning style.

I have a flexible schedule and frequently work with homeschoolers during daytime hours. Tutoring is available online or at a local library or coffee shop. I currently have availability for both one-time sessions and ongoing engagements.
