"Hello! Want to communicate better or find success on tests or with college applications? I'm happy to help! I have been teaching for more than 20 years, and I can assist with English conversation, reading, grammar, or TOEFL, IELTS, EIKEN, SAT, ACT, etc, tests. I am happy to work with all ages -- my students have ranged from age 3 to age 75.

I am currently a licensed teacher working in Hilliard, Ohio, but I am also familiar with materials used by other districts. I taught SAT-ACT classes at Ohio Chinese school and worked at OSU, so I can also help with preparing essays for college applications as well as SAT-ACT exams. One of my students got a 2390 on his SAT (old format), many achieved above a 1500, and several others have scored 35 on ACT (with perfect scores in English and/or reading)! I had one student take his ACT English score from a 14 to a 32 with a LOT of hard work!

Although my main area of expertise is English, I have also tutored and taught Japanese and Spanish.

I offer private individual or group lessons in the Hilliard/Dublin/Worthington/UA areas. If you are outside my travel range, let's arrange for an on-line lesson or try to meet at a location in the middle. No matter what your goal is, we will work towards it together!

I require 24 hours notice for a lesson cancellation. Any no-shows that occur will be assessed a full lesson fee. I may be flexible due to weather or emergencies.
