"I’m Sirisha! I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology. In college, I realized that the classes I appreciated the most tied back to my love for languages, culture, and ethnolinguistic studies. Whether it was troubleshooting a line of Python because of the wrong syntax or designing UI/UX for the potential customers I had interviewed, or customizing every iteration to fit the ideal customer.

I drew from my experiences as an online tutor for High School and Undergrads, when I was supporting myself independently while traveling internationally. Before that, I volunteered as a tutor for Elementary School and Middle School students at a nonprofit. Both experiences lasted a total of 3 years and had shaped me into a tutor who is both highly qualified and deeply human. Being able to enhance my students’ English and Spanish speaking, writing, and reading was only the beginning. I learned so much about my students, their learning styles, and their dreams.

Having taken classes in Spanish all throughout school (fluent now!), in French, and Italian, I welcome language enthusiasts of even non-English speaking backgrounds and cultures. What got me started on my own language journey as a kid - Hindi – is now one of the languages that I can speak well, if you ever want to explore Indo-European languages in general.

Even as a Python supplemental instructor in a university setting for a few months, my teaching style was patient, culturally aware, and tailored to each student’s goals. Whether you need help preparing for a class, improving your conversation skills, or exploring the roots of language, I will guide you with professionalism and care.
