"Hello! I'm Christine and I am an experienced high school English teacher of 14 years. I have taught all levels of English including special education, general education, honors, and AP courses. I have taught in private, charter, and public schools giving me a range of experience with all learners and styles. I am the founder of the English Honor Society for my current school as well as the founder of the Writing Centers for my previous schools. I created these programs to ensure that all students had the opportunity to receive help in the area of English Language Arts. My experience preparing students for state testing exams has resulted in a trend of increased state testing performance in the area of English Language Arts for the past 7 years. My expertise in the area of English Language Arts is not limited to classroom assignments. I have over a decade of experience reviewing college admissions essays and applications, reviewing resumes and cover letters, and working with university students on all academic writing, research, and presentations. My range of areas in which I can tutor is endless!

My education is evidence of my passion for education, learning, and English. I earned my Bachelor of Science in English Education followed by a Master of Arts in English in which I graduated summa cum laude. I continued my education by earning an Educational Technology certification, a certificate in Instructional Strategies for Teaching Writing & Literature through the PA Writing & Literature Project, and a second Master's of Science in Educational Leadership & Administration. All programs were completed with summa cum laude honors.
