"Hi! My name is Emily and I am a writer living working in Wilmington, NC. I have a B.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, a minor in English Literature, and a certificate in Publishing.

I have experience in teaching writing and book design to high school students, as well as experience in tutoring and mentoring at-risk elementary school students. I have written for online platforms and newspapers, served as a copyeditor, and am currently working as a technical writer.

I believe that education is serious business, but that it should also be creative and fun! A good education at a young age fosters a life-long love for learning and discovery. I specialize in reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and verbal and written communication.
