"My name is Cristina, I'm 29 and I come from Italy. I used to live in Sardinia, one of the main islands. I moved to the U.S 3.5 years ago, and now I'm planning to become a teacher, as I was in my country. I graduated in foreign languages in Italy, at University of Sassari, both bachelor's and master's degree.

I started tutoring and teaching since I was 16, during high school. In the beginning I used to help my classmates in math, and after that, I started teaching other subjects, but mainly foreign languages, such as French, Spanish, English and Italian, which is my native language. My youngest students were 7/8 years old, my oldest were 50ish years old. I've worked mainly with kids and teenagers, but I've had couple of older students as well. I was also an English teacher in high school before coming to the US, for three months. I was teaching in 6 classes of teenagers, each one of them had around 20-30 students.

My teaching method is not classic at all. To teach foreign languages the classic part is the grammar, which is very important. Besides that, the rest is about a continuous interaction, and a lot of fun with games and practice of real life. the classes are mainly one-on-one. I'm used to teach either in person and virtual.
