"Hi! My name is Kerry and I am an experienced Early Childhood and Elementary School Tutor based in Maryland. I absolutely love working with and educating children, and have found that tutoring in a one-on-one setting is extremely rewarding. My philosophy is that learning should be fun and meaningful for young children. I strive to cultivate a love of learning in all of my students, especially those who may be struggling in different areas.

I am a certified Early Childhood & Special Education teacher with a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Maryland, College Park. I am currently in graduate school pursuing a Master's in Learning Experience Design and Educational Technology. My educational background has prepared me to work with both typically developing children and those with special needs, including Autism, ADHD, and Dyslexia.

I have taught 2nd grade for 5 years and I also tutor children ages 3-10 in Early Literacy and Mathematical Foundations. I use a multisensory, hands-on approach that allows children to connect concepts and become fully immersed in their learning. My patient, relaxed style helps children feel at-ease and reduces the pressure and anxiety that school can sometimes cause.
