"I am an enthusiastic and patient instructor. I have been working with children in a number of capacities since 2008. In 2008 I first started out as a substitute teacher for the Pomona Unified School District in Pomona California. After a year of that, I decided that I wanted to work with troubled youth as a child care worker. As a child care worker, I monitored the children's activities, aided them in their homework and attended school meetings.

In 2010 I started tutoring troubled teens that were in a group home setting. While doing this I discovered that different children learn in different ways; that it is up to the instructor to present the information in a manner that the child can grasp and utilize." less...
