"I am currently Library Staff at Cornell University and Visiting Faculty at McNeese State University. Previously, I was an Assistant Professor (2018 - 2021), a Lecturer & Associate Lecturer (2016 - 2018), a Global Residential Fellow at Göttingen University in Germany (2018), and a Graduate Teaching Assistant (2011 - 2017). Prior to graduate school, I taught in Ohio, New York State, and Vietnam (2007 - 2011).

Subjects I have taught or tutored through the college level include: Math (through Calculus), GRE, PRAXIS, American History, World History, Religious Studies, Analytical Writing, Geography, and ESL. I have also been an academic advisor for Social Studies Education majors.

At the primary school through high school level, I have taught and tutored: Math (through Calculus), Science, Language Arts, History, Social Studies, Geography, Biology, Environmental Science, and more.

I don't just know what it takes to succeed in these subjects as a student; I have taught soon-to-be teachers HOW to teach them. In fact, several of my former students are now teaching American History, World History, Geography, and Social Studies courses.

What I love MOST about tutoring is being a champion for the student. I get most excited when they succeed! This is my sole drive.

I have received 5 teaching awards, and my peer evaluations from fellow professors and parents have consistently highlighted my skill in classroom instruction. Finally, I have recently given lectures, seminars, and conference presentations at UC Berkeley, Columbia, Cornell, and Harvard.
