"I have a decade of experience tutoring math from pre-algebra up to calculus and differential equations. My experience ranges across all ages and levels of skill. I passionately believe that with enough practice and encouragement every student can reach their goals. To enrich understanding and support friendly dialogue, I employ the Socratic Method. This helps the student discover the answer through their own reasoning rather than using rote memorization. I strive to make clear the deeper meaning of the material using illustrations and providing real-world examples.

I have always found extraordinary joy in tutoring. There is a growing epidemic of students who are falling behind in math skills, and I am here to bridge that gap. I have worked with kids learning basic arithmetic, middle and high schoolers tackling algebra for the first time, college students pulling their hair out over integrals, and even adults returning to college and finding themselves further behind in math than they anticipated. In every case I have made my tutoring sessions fun and engaging. Every question tackled is an opportunity for me to analyze a student’s reasoning and fill in the gaps where appropriate. After an extended break, I went back to college as an adult while working full-time and graduated in 2025 with a 3.90 GPA and was the recipient of the SPC Horizon Award and David May Scholarship. I also scored a perfect 300 on the Accuplacer Advanced Algebra and Functions test. In the coming months I will be continuing my education to complete my bachelor’s in electrical engineering.
