"Hi! I am a lifelong learner eager to help students conquer their fear of math and physics! I have close to 8 years of experience tutoring high school and undergraduate students. I specialize in tutoring students in Algebra, Calculus, and through the 1st year of undergraduate physics. I am also experienced in helping high school students with basic science coursework. Although I am most experienced teaching fundamental concepts in math and science, I am also willing to help students practice for standardized testing like the SAT and ACT. I graduated with a degree in Engineering Physics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I would be happy to discuss what its like to study physics in college.

I would describe my teaching style as focused on problem solving. I prefer to help students develop a sense of what steps to take to solve the problems presented to them in class as a way of overcoming the initial intimidation factor that I know many students have when confronted with complicated equations and concepts.
