"Hi! My name is Aleida—I graduated from Montclair State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in May 2023. I began my career as an Emergency Room nurse at a Level 1 Trauma Center and recently transitioned to a full-time role in the Cardiothoracic ICU.

Fueled by my passion for pathophysiology and caring for critically ill patients, I enjoy helping students understand complex concepts and build confidence in their nursing knowledge. I firmly believe that a strong understanding of pathophysiology is the key to success in nursing.

I remember experiencing imposter syndrome in nursing school—feeling afraid to ask questions, struggling to keep up with fast-paced lectures, and trying to absorb complex content as a visual learner. I am currently only specializing in pathophysiology for nursing students only, I hope to help you navigate your next semester with confidence and clarity!
