"Hello! My name is Ryan. I have been an ESL/History teacher for 5 years now. During tutoring, I like to have a very specified goal of what we are working towards and then each week we will work to reach our goal. "Hello! My name is Ryan. I have been an ESL/History teacher for 5 years now. During tutoring, I like to have a very specified goal of what we are working towards and then each week we will work to reach our goal. I will always be analyzing and focusing on making you (or your children) well-rounded and can offer some of my own opinions on what you (or your child) may need elsewhere. I am a big advocate on making education fun and will always try my best to include different types of teaching to ensure that the children enjoy themselves, regardless of the content. Teaching, advising, policy, research, and how curriculum is designed. I have tried to have a hand in nearly all of it to some degree and have a bit of experience in all both domestically and abroad. My simple goal is to my best job to help you (or your children) on bettering themselves both academically and personally to be the best they can be.
I would describe myself as a patient, calm, hard-working individual who is passionate about education in all of its forms. People tend to describe me as reliable, caring, humorous, and friendly. Personally, I am an outdoorsy person. I enjoy spending my downtime hiking, kayaking, or seeing the wonders of nature. I also love athletics including: basketball, baseball, football, soccer, hockey, and most college athletics. I also enjoy reading, watching films, listening to music, and volunteering. I love to spend time with my friends and family. Of course, if you have any questions, please feel free to message me at anytime, I like to be very focused on communication and answer questions during all interactions.
"The thing I loved the most - and still love the most about teaching - is that you can connect with an individual or a group, and see that individual or group exceed their limits. " - Coach Mike Krzyzewski" less...
