Instead of wielding a needle-I hold a red pen; instead of taking blood pressure-I'm checking sentence structure; instead of bandaging you up from surgery, I'm making my final touches on the paper that is going to get you an A. I'm poetic, yet professional. I treat the problem instead of the symptoms. Like a hand crafted wine, my work is about quality, not quantity, but you will not find me being imbibed by my own abilities-all things in moderation is my motto. I will not let you go gently into that good night nor will I let your life be like a dream within a dream, because you just can't seem to finish writing that paper that you need to pass that class.

I've been where you are-spending more time at the library than with my friends, coming up with an epiphany the night before a paper is due, and researching a topic until I have enough sources to fill an appendix.

I've had the pleasure of working two semesters at Towson University's ESOL Writing Lab, tutoring post secondary level students from a myriad of different cultures and native languages. I was instrumental in helping one Middle Eastern student score an internship with Johns Hopkins University, a Korean student re-apply to the music program through Towson, and a young Indian man improve his verbal pronunciation and understanding of English idioms, which he desperately needed for his future working in the medical field.
