"I received my Bachelor’s degree from Emerson College in 2015, and hold a Master’s degree in Fine Arts from Columbia University, which I graduated from in 2025. While at Emerson, I did peer tutoring for fellow undergraduate students in Research Writing. I worked with two students a week for two semesters and helped them develop foundational skills for writing research papers, including finding references, structuring their papers, and building a persuasive argument.

While at Columbia, I taught a six-week course for the Columbia community on the literature of Ursula K LeGuin. I taught students how to analyze her work, as well as how to apply some of her narrative techniques to their own writing. During my second year at Columbia, I tutored two to three undergraduate students a week from the department of English and Comparative Literature. In our sessions, I supported them in developing strong essays, analyzing literature, and writing compelling thesis statements.

Lastly, I have privately worked with three middle school students for the past year, whom I was connected to through a family friend. I teach them in their homes and help them with various English and essay-related homework.
