"I’m a seasoned educational specialist with 15+ years of experience supporting neurodivergent students, including those with dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD, and expressive/receptive language disorders. I hold degrees in Speech and Hearing Science and Psychology from The George Washington University and received clinical training at Rusk Medical Institute NYU and AHRC NYC.

I specialize in structured literacy instruction using the Orton-Gillingham (OG) approach, providing targeted, multisensory reading and spelling support. I also use Handwriting Without Tears and Fast ForWord to strengthen fine motor, auditory processing, and executive functioning skills.

My teaching is rooted in a belief that every learner is capable of progress when equipped with the right tools. I use explicit, cumulative instruction tailored to individual learning profiles. I help students develop core skills in phonemic awareness, decoding, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, spelling, and written expression.

As a former speech-language therapist, I bring a deep understanding of language development and how it connects to literacy. I help students not only improve their academic skills but also build confidence in their ability to communicate and succeed.
