"What makes me different as a tutor is that my top priority is to help students find the enjoyment in learning. I firmly believe that if students are liking what they are studying, they will connect to it and have a better understanding, ultimately leading to better grades. Beyond helping you find an interest in the subject, my tutoring approach is to understand your learning style and adapt to it. I look to develop your understanding of the fundamental concepts, but also have plenty of tricks to help with memorization or "brain fart" moments.

I received my bachelor's degree from the University of Miami where I studied Finance and Economics and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a 3.9 GPA in 2015. Since then, I have held a number of roles in the financial world, most recently on Wall Street as a financial analyst where I earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. While working, I have always enjoyed tutoring and have prior experience tutoring math on an independent and volunteer basis. My core competencies include math, Microsoft Excel, and finance. I have seen my students' grades and understanding improve while developing a professional yet comfortable relationship with them, encouraging them to come back for further assistance and without fear of asking what may seem like "silly questions".
