"My background includes a bachelor's degree in Economics with an Environmental Sciences Minor along with an MS in Energy/Environmental Policy. I also have a wilderness therapy certification and I am a Nature-Connected Coach. The bulk of my career involves training others in the basics of energy systems, nature connection, and career development. I have motivated young men to find their passion in life through my coaching experience. My experience includes translating engineering and technical information to business language so there is a common understanding for moving forward in a project.

My direct tutoring experience is with middle school students in which I volunteered to teach Hispanic students both English and math. I provided this service for 2 years. My approach is to make the experience fun and engaging through experiential and example based learning. My students provided me with a poster that they all colored and signed at the end of my volunteer time.

Whether we can engage in person or online, I can help students learn about the natural world through experiential activities. I have taught in a variety of settings including classroom, one-one-one and outside. I can tailor a lesson plan to the specific needs of the student.
