"Hi, my name is Nikhil, and I am currently a university student studying mathematics. I enjoy helping other people understand math concepts and achieve success in their classes. I have about 4 years of experience tutoring in this area, going through a variety of courses in this time. My preferred method of teaching is to give a second perspective on some of the concepts explained in class, and going through related practice problems together. I have found that this is a good way to identify areas that could use improvement and build a better understanding. Of course, I also like to hear what each student feels they need help with, and adapt to the way a particular class is being taught.

I feel confident in my ability to help any students who need extra support in any high school math courses. Along with this, I would be happy to help students with the introductory sequence of science and engineering math courses: calculus 1 and 2, multivariable and vector calculus, and linear algebra and differential equations.

I know standardized test preparation is another area many students seek help with. Years ago when I was completing high school, I was able to score a 35 on the ACT, and am happy to help students who would like to prepare for college entrance exams like these. However, I'm not fully sure I have great advice on how to prepare for the English and reading sections of these exams. I know the ACT and SAT math sections are a tests that can give students who are quite strong in the other areas some trouble, and would be more than happy to help boost scores in these sections in particular.
