"I am an IXL-certified tutor with 18 years of experience, including two years as an AmeriCorps volunteer tutor in Alachua County before becoming a classroom teacher. I am certified in 28 subjects through WyzAnt and have taught students from Head Start through college.

I’ve worked extensively with students with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and other learning differences. My approach focuses on breaking material down clearly, reinforcing foundational skills, and helping each learner build lasting confidence. My sessions include structured practice, meaningful guidance, and consistent support tailored to each student’s needs.

My background includes 14 years of experience tutoring international college students in English and preparing them for the TOEFL. I also served as a FAST (formerly FCAT) and Common Core tutor for elementary students. My strongest subjects include Psychology, Computer Science, Creative Writing, English, and Math.

I tutor online or at a nearby library or clubhouse. I can also meet at a student’s home if the space is quiet and suitable for study; in-home sessions include a $20 travel fee. A minimum of two hours’ notice is required for cancellations.
