"I’m Meg! I am an experienced middle and high school English teacher with over 13 years of experience in Louisiana and Georgia. I have a Bachelor of Arts in History from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana with a minor in Louisiana History. While my background is in history, I’ve found myself teaching English. I truly enjoy teaching English because I believe that reading and writing provide students with ample opportunities to express themselves and become better citizens of the world. I always aim to help students become the best communicators they can be.

I have worked with many different types of students throughout my time as a teacher and a tutor - Special Education, English Learners, gifted students, etc. I feel comfortable in my ability to help all students meet their fullest potential through my extensive “teacher toolbox” of resources and techniques. I am proficient at helping students with all skills related to their English classes including reading comprehension, writing, analyzing, and all other necessary skills. Teaching English is truly my passion, and I hope to pass this on to you.
