"Hello I'm Texas! I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology. I realized early on that I enjoyed teaching students of all ages and decided to pursue a career in education. I got my science composite teaching certificate and applied to be a teacher. Through observing many other teachers I started to develop my own style of teaching from what I saw. The teachers that got the most interaction from their students provided multiple engaging ways for students to learn the material because let's be real everyone has a different preference to learning. I took this idea and feedback from students on what they liked and didn't.

Throughout my 6 years of teaching grades 9th-12th I was able to create engaging lessons for any subject I was asked to teach whether it be Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Systems, or Geoscience I had basically acquired the Infinity Gauntlet of Science at my school. I learned how to patiently work with students that needed a varying level of assistance and even made a reputation for myself as the teacher who would help even if he wasn't your teacher. During tutoring sessions after school I was able to help any student that asked for it in all the subjects listed above and sometimes even social studies and math subjects.

I want to help you succeed however I can and am open and willing to any resources or suggestions students and parents provide. I will provide a quick response and am easy to reach so feel free to contact me with any questions or schedule a lesson." less...
