"Hello! My name is Blanca. I am a 23 year old pre-med student currently in my gap year. I graduated in June of 2025 from UCSC with a degree in bimolecular engineering and bioinformatics. I took the MCAT in May of 2025 and scored in the 94th percentile. I am currently working as a critical care EMT and a tutor as I work on my application for the 2026 med school cycle.

I have previous experience tutoring elementary, middle school, and college aged students. In college I took a course on different learning styles and tutored math, chemistry, and biology. In high school I helped teach spanish at Viva el Español, an after school Spanish program for elementary school kids. Spanish is my frist language and I am fluent in speaking, reading, and writing. I studied for the MCAT using the Kaplan resources and self study.
